The 3rd Danish Pain Research Seminar was held
at Hindsgavl Castle 15-17 June 2007 with a nice
multidisciplinary attendance, mostly from the Scandinavian
Countries.
Under the topic Persistent postsurgical pain:
Mechanisms and prevention an international faculty
covered many aspects of chronic pain following surgery, including epidemiology,
pathophysiology, prediction of acute and chronic pain, imaging
of pain conditions,
treatment and prevention.
